First, I have a cold. It is starting to suck on a hardcore level. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be the real deal flu.
Second, I highly recommend listening to the audio version of Stephen King’s On Writing: A Memoir of The Craft. Even if you don’t want to know how to write more better. It is entertaining all on its own.
Third, I always flush public toilets with my foot. I know there is a risk of losing my balance and stepping into the bowl, but I don’t want to touch the flusher with my hand. Today at work I flushed the toilet with my left foot and noticed I was wearing a brown shoe. With my black pants. I put my feet together and looked down to verify the blackness of my pants and the brownness of my shoes.
Oh, shit.
I was wearing one brown and one black shoe.

1. ACK! I have had this hell for a week now. Sincerely hoping it isn’t similar.
2. I LOVE THIS BOOK. It is genius. So is he. Stephan King will never be out of publication. NEVER. You want to know what books will on the bookshelf in 200 years? His will be there.
3. I thank my mother daily for giving me the ability to use public restrooms and never touch ANYTHING.
Are you getting dressed in the dark????
My sister in law, Vanessa, hovers above the seat when using public toilets. I havent figured out how she can pee when her thighs are not relaxed.
We have that actual book, but I’ve never read it. Maybe now I will. Im STILL trying to finish Demian. Its kind of freaking me out. I actually think that you might like it. Its kind of a coming of age in the occult book.
Loralee - We’ve been snacking on vitamin C and freshening our breath with Zicam. I’m hoping the worst has passed.
allthepretties - I don’t dress in the dark, but sometimes I do put my shoes on in the dark. You’d think I’d feel the difference!
Our library doesn’t have Demian. I don’t think any of the libraries in our library’s consortium have it. It must be a little on the wild side.
